Southern Classics Society is a friendly and informal, all-marque club for classic vehicle enthusiasts in the south of England

Regular Monthly Meetings

What do we do

Southern Classics Society is not only about the Shows and Cars, but has an active social calender which includes regular monthly “Noggin ‘n Natter” meetings.

These are informal meetings which follow the monthly committee meeting as you get the opportunity to speak to committeee members and make your views known.

There are regularly 20-30 people attending, and non-members are welcome to meet with us and get to know us.

There is a magazine swap where you can bring and take Classic related mags (Free).

A couple of times a year there is a quiz night.

And it's not a 'blokes' night either - there is normally a good balance of ladies and men.

And of course whilst it is the Southern Classics meet, the Natter isn't all about cars - anything goes.

We meet every month on the 2nd Monday at 8:15pm. The committee meeting actually starts at 7:30pm so there are normal people 'coming together' before 8:15pm so please be patient if you see a group sitting on a long table talking - we are not ignoring you - just trying to finish the business off.

The Worlds End at Patching

The Worlds End is just off the A27 on Arundel Road, Patching (just off the junction of A27 and A280) and is a traditional "Sussex Longhouse" country pub.

For those who come to the Fox at Patching for the BBQ and the Christmas Dinner it is the bigger pub you come to on the right from the roundabout. If you come from Arundel direction and take the little slip road from the A27 to Patching drive past the Fox: its the next pub on the left. If you are coming from the north (A24)come down the A280 from Findon and turn right at the first roundabout as you get to the A27.

We have been assigned a private area and the carpark in front of the pub is large with another even bigger one area behind the pub. There is a large garden for the summer and it is a real ale pub.

So please come and support us and enjoy a good regular Noggin 'N' Natter

(Of course any of you who are film buffs and Simon Pegg/Nick Frost fans maybe wondering whether this is really a wise choice......... )
